During Local Government Week next week – from Monday 31 July to Sunday 6 August – I will be out in the City with Council staff who will hit the road at various mobile office locations across our City.
It’s important that we come to you to listen to your concerns, answer questions and allow you to explore some of the great projects we’re delivering to benefit the community.
The mobile offices will be at various locations:
- Monday: Dutton Plaza, Cabramatta, from 10am-1pm
- Wednesday: Bonnyrigg Plaza, Bonnyrigg, from 10am-1pm
- Thursday: Neeta City, Fairfield, from 10am-1pm
- Friday: Stockland Wetherill Park, from 10am-1pm
I will be at each session in the morning and I look forward to meeting you.
Inaugural #CaptureFairfield photo contest
Council held a photography competition, called #CaptureFairfield, to celebrate Local Government week.
The inaugural competition attracted 133 entries from across four age groups: Primary School students, Secondary School students, Amateur Photographers and Professional Photographers.
I’d like to congratulate our winners: Dibe Chaker, Natasha Win, Tina Tran, Asher Mendigorin, Vesna Arbanas, Alex Benetel and Ryan Saez.
The winning photographs will be on display during Local Government Week at Council’s mobile offices, Wetherill Park Library, Whitlam Library, and on the outdoor screen at the Crescent Plaza in Fairfield.
