Aquatopia now open
Published on 30 September 2020
Aquatopia is now open for families looking for a fun school holiday activity where they can stay cool while staying active.
We understand how important it is for families to get outside and be healthy and active together, but we also understand that it is important that visitors are safe and feel comfortable while at Aquatopia.
That’s why we have been working with NSW Health in establishing our COVID Safe plans to make sure that people can not only come out and have fun but do it in a way that is a safe as possible.
This year the Aquatopia season will look a little different. We have reduced the numbers of people who can come each day to help with social distancing. The great news is that you will be able to get to your favourite ride sooner without the queues. You will also need to book your tickets online.
We have built more cabanas and installed more umbrellas, which means a lot more shade for families so they can sit together and social distance. We will have COVID safety marshals, hand sanitiser stations and more cleaning happening around the park. We are also separating the main pool from Aquatopia, so unfortunately you will be unable to access the pool while you are at Aquatopia.
Other venues, including water parks, are open around Sydney, so there isn’t any reason for Aquatopia visitors to be worried as long as we continue to social distance and doing what we’ve been doing really well so far.
As the season progresses, we will look at options to allow more people to visit, which could include holding two sessions a day during summer.
Aquatopia is open 11am-4pm every day of the school holidays as well as weekends right through spring. Make sure you book online at www.fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au/aquatopia. With prices starting at $15 for individuals and $55 for family, it is the fun, affordable and safe way to stay cool in Fairfield City.
