Ordinary Council meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month starting at 7pm.

Role of the Outcomes Committee
The Outcomes Committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm in the Council Administration Centre. A quorum of 2 Councillors is required to allow the meeting to proceed. The role of the Outcomes Committee is to determine the policies, priorities, plans and strategic direction in achieving the community's vision as expressed in the Fairfield City Plan through implementation of the Delivery Program.

Role of the Services Committee
The Services Committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm in the Council Administration Centre. A quorum of 2 Councillors is required to allow the meeting to proceed. The role of the Services Committee is to implement and review the operational activities within Council's strategic direction as expressed in the Operational Plan.

Role of the Traffic Committee
The role of the Traffic Committee is to consider matters relating to Council's functions under the Roads Act 1993 and the regulations made thereunder, and those matters relating to Council's functions in respect to public roads under the Local Government Act 1993 and the regulations made thereunder.
Meeting Process
The Traffic Committee meets on the second Monday of every second month, starting in February, at 2.30pm in the Council Administration Centre.
A quorum of two councillors is required to allow the meeting to proceed.

Aim of Sister City Committee
The Sister City Committee aims to encourage friendships with the people of Fairfield City and other Council bodies. It is an opportunity for our community to experience and share in the culture of other cities, to develop a greater awareness of others traditions and to form business and economic relationships.
