When is Fairfield Spring Fest 2022?
Fairfield Spring Fest 2022 will be held on Saturday 24 September and Sunday 25 September, from 12pm to 8pm.
Is the Fairfield Spring Fest free entry?
Yes, this is a free event. Free children's workshops, face painting, air brush tattoo, amusement rides, and inflatables.
What is Fairfield Spring Fest?
Fairfield Spring Fest is a family-friendly event which include an entertainment stage with live performances, amusement rides, free children’s activities and workshops including face painting and air brush tattoo, art installations, food trucks and a roller skating rink.
This is a new event for Fairfield and is proudly funded by the NSW Government as part of the CBDs Revitalisation Program.
Will this event be COVID safe?
The wellbeing of our community, contractors and staff is our greatest priority. In the lead up to the event, Fairfield City Council will closely monitor NSW Health advice to enable a COVID-safe event.
Attendees are reminded to:
- Practice good hand hygiene. Hand sanitiser stations will be available at the festival.
- Cough/sneeze into elbow.
- Adhere to social distancing requirements (mask wearing optional if you are unable to socially distance).
- Wear a face mask on public transport.
- Stay home if you are feeling unwell or have a sore throat, runny nose, persistent cough, shortness of breath, fever.
Do I need to pay for skate hire?
Tickets for sessions include skate hire and are available for a $2 booking fee. To book in your sessions, please visit the website.
You are welcome to bring your own roller skates.
I would like to be a stallholder for the event. What do I need to do?
Applications for stallholders have closed. However, we can add you to our stallholder database. If you are interested in becoming a stallholder for future events, please send an email with your details to events@fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au.

Our entertainment program is currently full. However we can add you to our entertainment database. Please send an email with your details to events@fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au.
How can I get to the festival?
Transport to the festival is available by boarding a train to Fairfield train station. Fairfield Station falls on the T3 Bankstown, T5 Cumberland and T2 Inner west and south lines and is a 50-minute journey from Central train station. We recommend using public transport for easy access to the festival at Fairfield city centre.

Can I bring my pet?
For safety of your pet, it’s best to leave them at home away from large crowds and loud noises.

What happens if it rains?
In the event of wet weather the event site will be assessed to determine the suitability to continue the event and program. This message will be updated accordingly.
