Facebook Competition Terms and Conditions:

By entering this competition, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

  • The competition is only open to Fairfield City residents. Entrants less than 16 years of age must seek parental/guardian permission to enter.
  • Employees of Fairfield City Council (Promoter), its affiliates, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child, parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

2. How to enter

  • To enter, participants must:
  1. Like the competition post and the Facebook page.
  2. Comment by guessing the correct or the closest to the correct number of easter eggs shown in the post.
  • Entrants can enter multiple times but can only win 1 prize.

3. Competition period

  • The competition starts on Monday 14 April at 4pm and ends at 3pm, Tuesday 15 April 2025.

4. Winner selection

  • The first 14 entries with the correct answers will win (7 winners will be selected from the Fairfield City Council Facebook page, and 7 winners will be selected from Mayor of Fairfield Frank Carbone’s Facebook page).
  • In the case that there is no correct answer, the closest answers will be eligible to win. Decisions are at the discretion of the Promoter, and are final.
  • The winners will be notified via a direct message on Facebook by 5pm, Wednesday 16 April 2025.
  • Winners must be able to provide an email and contact details to the Promoter to arrange prize collection at the Fairfield Easter Fair (Fairfield Showground).
  • Failure to provide the Promoter with an email and contact details within 24 hours will forfeit the prize and another winner will be selected.

5. Prize

  • The Promoter is giving away 14 Unlimited Rides Wristbands, valued at $35 each.
  • Each winner will receive 1 Unlimited Rides Wristband (Prize), valid for use on any one day of the Fairfield Easter Fair (except Thursday 17 April 2025).
  • The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • On collection of the Prize, proof of identification and Fairfield City residency must be provided.

6. Publicity

  • By entering, participants grant the Promoter the right to use their name and Facebook profile for promotional purposes in connection with this competition without any further compensation.

7. Disqualification

  • Any entry deemed illegible, inappropriate, or offensive will be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Promoter.

8. Liability

  • The Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues, problems, or failures of any kind related to Facebook or the entry process.
  • The Promoter is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize.

9. Right to cancel or modify

  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition if necessary, including in the event of a computer virus, tampering, or any other cause beyond our control.

10. Facebook disclaimer

  • This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. By entering, you release Facebook from any responsibility related to the competition.
