Halls and Room Hire

Fairfield City offers a range of subsidised community facilities for hire, including community halls, meeting rooms, offices, and other specialised facilities such as craft rooms. Whether you want a hall or room for a birthday party, family reunion, community group meeting, provide education or a conference, one of our 19 halls across our City will be the perfect venue.

Fairfield Showground

Fairfield Showground is the ideal venue for any function from 25 people to 250 with 3 Function Centres and 4 rooms available for your special event. Hold your next family celebration, cocktail party, wedding reception, graduation, event, conference, corporate presentation or gala dinner at a convenient location with peaceful tree-lined semi-rural surroundings.

Fairfield Youth and Community Centre

FYCC facilities are ideal for schools, community organisations, sporting groups, and private/social bookings for court hire and/or room hire (including for parties).

Fairfield City Open Libraries Workary

The 5 Libraries have a number of small meeting rooms which can be booked, by contacting your local branch on 9725 0333 from 9.30-5pm Monday to Friday. They also have the Workary which has a large space for hire and studios 2166 for those interested in technologies.

Fairfield City Open Libraries Studio 2166 and The Alcove

Studio 2166 is a film and recording studio built for digital content creation and learning activities. You can attend our regular Studio 2166 workshops or reserve time to work on your own projects. Fairfield City Open Libraries offers this creative facility free to members, small businesses, and the public.

Fairfield City HQ

Our Vic Winton - Community Hub Space accommodates up to 60 people and comes equipped with a large screen projector, free Wi-Fi, power outlets, whiteboard, and access to a fully fitted kitchen. It is available for community and commercial purposes.

Cabravale Leisure Centre

Behind Cabravale Leisure Centres unique facade is a creative choice of community, meeting and education spaces that are available for hire. The Centre caters for a wide range of social, educational, cultural and lifestyle events.
