Sydney Water is building the Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre (AWRC) in Kemps Creek and associated pipelines to support population and economic growth in Western Sydney.
John Holland Group (JHG), a civil engineering contractor is undertaking the pipeline work.
To facilitate the construction of the new pipeline works, JHG is proposing to implement road and lane closure at Bartley Street (between Railway Parade and Park Road) from 13 May up-to 3 weeks:
- Bartley Street full road closure from 13 May to 1 June (7.00am to 6.00pm, Monday-Saturday)
- Bartley Street Westbound Lane closure from 13 May to 1 June (6.00pm to 7.00am, Monday-Sunday)
While work is being carried out, Bartley Street will be fully closed to through traffic for up to 3 weeks. Detours will be in place and alternative routes will be clearly signposted as required.
The streets will be still accessible for local traffic, under traffic control measures.
