Good things come in trees

Council is branching out to cover more areas with trees in our City!

Recently, we planted more than 500 extra trees around the City in our parks to create cooler and more beautiful spaces for you to enjoy.

Species were chosen that will create shade, bring colour and vibrancy to our parks and provide good habitat for local birds and fauna. Look out for your newly planted trees planted at:

  • Sydney Luker Park – Cabramatta West
  • Macarthur Park – Fairfield East
  • Stella Park – Fairfield Heights
  • Goodacre Park, Rosina Park, Warrumbungle Park – Fairfield West
  • Ironside Park – St Johns Park
  • Emerson Park – Wetherill Park
  • Northumberland Park – Bonnyrigg Heights
  • Peterlee Park – Canley Heights
  • Moorhouse Park – Edensor Park
  • Cabravale Memorial Park – Cabramatta
  • Springfield Park - Yennora
