Country comes to Wonderful Wednesday

Wonderful Wednesday will be going country in September.

Country performer Pamela Drysdale will entertain shoppers with her accordion on 25 September along Ware, Spencer and Smart Streets from 11am-2pm. Pamela has a vast repertoire that includes country and pop music.

Wonderful Wednesday is a monthly event held in Fairfield City Centre with the goal of encouraging local shoppers to continue returning to the City Centre and visitors from afar to come and 'Experience Cosmopolitan Shopping'.

Free canvas 'Fairfield City Centre' shopping bags will also be given away.

Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone said Wonderful Wednesday captures everything that is great about Fairfield City Centre.

"Visiting Fairfield City Centre, you cannot help but be caught up by the buzz and hum of our busy retail hub, be amazed by the colours and sights of the shop windows, and swept up by the delicious aromas of our cafes, bakeries and restaurants," Mayor Carbone said.

"From food to fashion and home wares, and everything in between, Fairfield City has it all.

"I invite everyone to discover Fairfield City Centre, support local business and Experience Cosmopolitan Shopping."
