Food Hampers Volunteer

Time Commitment: Thursday 1pm to 5.30pm.

Position Description:
We are looking for a Food Hampers Volunteer who can assist with food hampers preparation to effectively distribute food hamper boxes to our low-income/disadvantaged community.

Activities include:

  • Food preparation room set-up/pack-up
  • Clean and sanitize the work area
  • Sort through fruit & vegetables
  • Evenly distribute food to food hamper boxes
  • Interact with community members
  • Keep clean the storerooms
  • Keep updating the food inventory

Volunteering with CASA is a great way to connect with your community, stay active, and have fun sharing skills and experiences. Gives you the chance to help others and positively impact your community whilst using existing skills and learning new ones whilst you volunteer.
