Rules for parking trucks in built-up areas NSW Road Rules state that a vehicle with a gross vehicle mass (GVM) greater than 4.5 tonnes or a vehicle, that together with any load or projection is 7.5 metres long or longer cannot be parked in a built-up area for longer than one (1) hour unless the vehicles are engaged in loading or unloading activity or some other lawful activity.
Proposal to extend trial of parklets on Canley Vale Road, Canley Vale Council is planning to install 3 parklets on Canley Vale Road as part of Safer Cities: Her Way project to make temporary public space improvements to make the local area feel safer particularly for women and girls at nighttime.
Broomfield St, Cabramatta - Proposed speed humps at underpass bridge As part of the Cabramatta Loop Project, Fulton Hogan enquired about installation of two speeds humps (Watts profile) on either side of underpass bridge on Sussex Street. The request for the installation of two speed humps was to address sight distance issues as pedestrians cross the pram ramps on Broomfield Street (near Sussex Street) and to help reduce vehicle speeds at the underpass loop.
