Avenel Park, Canley Vale has been transformed into a multi-dimensional sport and exercise space for all ages. Opened in December 2024, the park has a range of healthy physical activities and inclusive play for families to enjoy.
The project embellished an underused public space to offer a greater range of play and recreational opportunities. Avenel Park now meets the growing need for adventure-focused exercise facilities for community health, connection and vibrancy.
What's new?
The new park includes:
o Skatepark
o Multi-sports court
o Kick-about lawn
o Inclusive fitness equipment with 25m sprint track
o Walking circuit path
o Cooling station and bubblers
o Turf seating area
A ninja obstacle course will be added in 2025.
