Wave Rider experience to open

We are building our City for local families and providing places to go that are affordable and that provide healthy activities for our kids. Our City deserves to have facilities to accommodate a growing community.

We are bringing new things to our City and Council will launch into summer with an exciting new ride at Aquatopia, the Wave Rider.

The Wave Rider offers a surfing experience without the need to go to the beach. The ride is unique and the first of its kind in Australia and free to use as part of entry to Aquatopia.

Join me this Saturday, 2 December, when I officially open the Wave rider and then be one of the first to try it out.

We are also planning to introduce a further attraction, the Fishpipe ride, in early 2018. The Fishpipe is a water-filled ball where riders are tumbled about. It's like being in a washing machine and on a long water slide at the same time. Over time even more rides will be added at Aquatopia.

Aquatopia is ideal for residents of all ages and abilities to have fun, cool down, be active and healthy and spend quality time with their families.

And don't forget there are still the three giant 10-metre slides, adventure aqua tower with water cannons, tipping buckets and toddler play area, cabanas and barbeques that make Aquatopia such a great experience for residents.
