New playground for all children

I am pleased to announce that we will be building an exciting new playground in the heart of our city at Deerbush Park, within the grounds of Fairfield Showground.

This new playground will feature fun and exciting play equipment that has been designed to be accessible for children of all abilities. We want all families to have the opportunity to come together, get outside and be active.

Deerbush Park will be a great place to play and to learn to ride a bike, and with a water play area, will be a fantastic place to cool off in the warmer months. It will also be connected to walking and riding paths that will be built right around the Showground.

We want to make sure that all our residents have fun and affordable places to be active, stay fit and build connections with family, friends and their neighbours.

We have built some of the best parks in Sydney, with our Fairfield Adventure Park, Bonnyrigg Town Centre Park, Aquatopia, and now we are creating a wonderful new playground at Deerbush Park at Fairfield Showground.

The construction of Deerbush Park is part of the transformation of Fairfield Showground including new festival spaces, international standard playing fields, improved amenities and grandstands, an indoor sports centre and Australia's largest Kugel ball.

The new park will be another exciting chapter in ensuring there is something for everyone at Fairfield Showground. It is located in the heart of our City and we want everyone to have a reason to come here and enjoy what we are building for the community.
