Get active these holidays

Council is proud to provide so many wonderful places in Fairfield City that families can play and discover together these school holidays.
Family is at the heart of everything we do, making sure kids and families can get out and be active and enjoy local activities.
Our award-winning water park Aquatopia is open every day these holidays for a local fun, affordable way to stay cool with friends and family. With the tallest slide tower in Sydney, as well as the activity tower, WaveRider, Fishpipe and toddler play pool, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
We also have some of the best parks to visit in Sydney. The Fairfield Adventure Park is a popular place for a picnic or a barbecue with the family, with its iconic net climb and slide tower, flying fox and ‘ninja’ obstacle course. It is located right next door to our Fairfield Youth and Community Centre which has climbing walls, trampolines and basketball courts.
There is also parkour and futsal courts at Emerson Street Reserve, and table tennis and badminton at Cabravale Memorial Park, as well as dozens of playgrounds and hundreds of kilometres of cycling paths across our City.
School holiday craft will once again be held at Fairfield City Museum & Gallery. These activities are very popular and bookings are recommended. Our Enviro Boot Camp is also on again for school children aged 5-12. Enviro Bootcamp has fun and interactive workshops each day over the two weeks.
There are also free activities at our five City libraries, including craft, Lego and robotics workshops. You can also try your hand at sound and video recording at Studio 2166 at Whitlam Library.
I want every family to have a fun and enjoyable holiday while getting outside and being active and trying something new.
