The much anticipated Dutton Lane car park in Cabramatta will be open by mid-April.

The two new levels will provide 275 new car spaces, which will connect to the existing multi-storey car park. This will increase the overall parking in the Cabramatta precinct to 880 spaces.

Council is resolving a permit through the Department of Planning for an additional car park level, which is expected to be built in the future. This is part of Council planning for the future needs of our City.

Once completed, the Dutton Lane complex will provide the community with additional open space to be used for cultural, retail, business, tourism and/or entertainment activities.

The project incorporates a piece of public artwork entitled Unfold, by Cabramatta artist Kevin Vo. The artwork takes the form of a 'history wall' featuring archival photographs and commentary about the many different cultures that have made Cabramatta home.

From Cabramatta to Eurovision

I am sure you have all heard that Dami Im has been named as Australia's 2016 Eurovision artist. Dami was our headline act at the Cabramatta Moon Festival in 2014 and was a great hit with crowds. We wish her all the best.
