Celebrating all Mothers

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all mothers a very happy Mother's Day for Sunday. Mother's Day is an opportunity to honour the mother in your life.

To celebrate all the mums in our City, Council has arranged several activities.  

We will be treating mums with roaming entertainment in Fairfield town centre on 11 May from 11am to 2pm, serenading them and handing out free flowers.

Fairies will be handing out chocolates on 10 May from 10am to noon in Canley Vale, and 1pm to 3pm in Canley Heights and also Cabramatta on 11 May from 10am to 1pm.

If you have nothing planned you could take your mum out to one of our beautiful locations in Fairfield City. Pack her a picnic lunch and take a stroll along the Bush Tucker Path in Bonnyrigg Park, the shores of Chipping Norton Lake or take your mum to explore the vast Western Sydney Parklands.

For the more adventurous mums, TreeTops Adventure Park or Fairfield Adventure Park is the perfect place to get acquainted with some of Fairfield City's natural beauty.

Seniors Bus Tour

I would like to reminder all senior's to book into our free senior's tour which is being held on Thursday 17 May 2018 from 10.30am – 2.30pm. The tour leaves from the Fairfield City Museum and Gallery in Smithfield. I will be joining you for refreshments at the end. Call 9725 0877 to reserve you spot.

International Women's Day Acknowledgement

We would like the community to think about who you would nominate for Fairfield City International Woman of the Year in 2019. The inaugural winner will be announced at the March 2019 Council Meeting to acknowledge the amazing women in our City and to inspire others to reach their goals. More details on how to nominate will be revealed later this year.
