I’m excited to announce that Council’s biggest foodie festival Culinary Carnival will return to Fairfield City Centre this weekend, and everyone is invited!
Ware and Spencer streets will be transformed into a bustling bazaar hosting our best in food, music and dancing from all around the world, in celebration of the amazing diversity right here in Fairfield City.
Come along to experience a multitude of food providers across a variety of cuisines dishing up authentic and mouth-watering street food at its finest.
Adding to the festivities will be popular Assyrian songstress Sonia Odisho performing live on the main stage from 12.30pm, roving entertainment and free amusement rides and activities for the kids. There really will be something for everyone at Culinary Carnival.
Fairfield City prides itself on hosting inclusive and affordable family events that support local business, and Culinary Carnival is no exception. What makes our City such a unique and special place is the wonderful diversity of its residents and their passion for sharing and celebrating their culture with neighbours, friends and family.
So mark your calendars for this Saturday, 25 May from 11am-4pm. I encourage you to bring your friends and family, and most importantly your appetite, to Culinary Carnival in Spencer and Ware streets Fairfield City Centre. I look forward to seeing you there.
