Get hooked on books Mayors summer holiday program 2024 to 2025

Get hooked on books!

This summer, we invite you to join us in our exciting reading program. This literacy program is designed for children ages 0-13 years to engage with libraries and read throughout the summer. Practice or improve reading skills over the summer school holidays while maintaining them, meet new friends, learn more about your community libraries and have fun!

To get involved, simply visit your local library from Monday 2 December 2024 to register and collect your Mayor’s Summer Holiday Program reading passport! Each child must register using their own library card (membership is free).

There are two different passports depending on the age of the participant.

Mayor's Summer Holiday Program Junior: Ages 0 to 4 years
Mayor's Summer Holiday Program: Ages 5 to 13 years
