Volunteer Bus Assistant

Position Description:
SWCT are seeking friendly, enthusiastic individuals who want to give back to their community and volunteer their time as a Volunteer Bus Assistant. The purpose of this position is to:

  • assist the client in and out of the vehicles (cars and buses)
  • assist the client with their mobility aids, shopping bags or other items
  • assist the client around their designated location such as social events, shopping trips and individual trips
  • assisting the driver to collect details and fares

Description of Organisation:
South West Community Transport (SWCT) is a not for profit organisation that is situated in Minto. SWCT provides transportation services to the frail aged, people with disabilities, their carers and people that are transport disadvantaged within the South West Sydney area.
