Work-Pad

Work-Pad is the one stop for young people in Fairfield City who are looking for or starting their first job. What do we need to know when jumping into the workforce? Grab a pen, grab a pad, and get to work!

Work-Pad aims to create an accessible platform for young people aged 15-24 in Fairfield City who are concerned about finding and keeping a job and getting information or help around employment. 

 

Work-Pad Youth Steering Committee (WYSC)

The Work-Pad Youth Steering Committee (WYSC) is a group of young people who live in the Fairfield Local Government Area. The WYSC have volunteered countless hours of their time to lead, drive and co-design the Work-Pad project.

They have spent time reaching out to other young people to find out what is important to have in an online resource so they can put together this website.

The WYSC have also filmed some short videos in order to share tips and tricks for young people thinking about finding their first job. Work-Pad is designed by young people, for young people!
