Creative Communities Grant – Opens 3 March and closes 4 April 2025

One-off grants of $6,000 are available to not-for-profit groups and organisations to support creative projects that empower communities to voice important issues, while further developing cultural knowledge and artistic skills.

Creative Communities Grant Workshop: gain skills to deliver a successful project

Council will host free one-day workshops to assist not-for-profit community groups and organisations to submit a quality grant application. In this workshop participants will build skills and knowledge to develop and deliver successful community projects with a creative focus. Lunch provided

Venue: Western Sydney University Fairfield Connect 54 Smart Street, Fairfield

The same content is delivered in both workshops. Only one booking per person.

  • Transforming an idea into a proposal
  • Using evidence and data to support your project idea
  • Developing project timelines and budgets
  • Auspicing for creatives and unincorporated organisations
  • Fostering partnerships 
  • Budgeting principles

Arts and Culture Grant - Opens September 2025

The Arts and Culture Grant is for not-for-profit groups and organisations who can apply for up to $4,000. The grant is open to groups working in all art forms, including film, visual art, music, literature, dance, theatre, digital and multi-disciplinary arts. The grant is focused on assisting emerging and professional artists and organisations to develop and produce work relevant to Fairfield City.
