Arts and Culture Grants

 

2024 Creative Communities Grant.

One-off grants of $6,000 are available to not-for-profit groups and organisations to support creative projects that empower communities to voice important issues, while further developing cultural knowledge and artistic skills.

Submissions close 4 April.

Need advice on your application? Register for an advisory session                               

Advisory sessions provide support to improve your Creative Communities Grant application. One-on-one sessions are available at two locations. Bookings essential via Eventbrite  

  • Wednesday 19 March Harry Kewell Room Whitlam Library (Cabramatta)
  • Thursday 20 March Fairfield Council Administration Office (Wakeley)

Phone and online advisory sessions are also available from Wednesday to Friday. Sessions available until Thursday 4 April. Email scd@fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au or call 9725 0222 to make an appointment. Council staff will contact you to arrange a suitable time. 

Tips
To make the most of your session, send us your Creative Communities Grant proposal and tell us what project area you seek advice on ahead of your session time (e.g., budget, project partnerships, auspicing)

If you require an interpreter or have additional access needs contact scd@fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au one week prior to your session, so we can better support you.

Arts and Culture Grant - Opens September 2025

The Arts and Culture Grant is for not-for-profit groups and organisations who can apply for up to $4,000. The grant is open to groups working in all art forms, including film, visual art, music, literature, dance, theatre, digital and multi-disciplinary arts. The grant is focused on assisting emerging and professional artists and organisations to develop and produce work relevant to Fairfield City.
